Life as a public sector employee – whether a leader, manager or on the frontline, is changing fast. Where there was certainty, there is uncertainty; where (generally) there were enough people to do the job, there are shortages; where there was clarity around roles, the way employees see themselves is now being challenged and post-redundancies “survivor guilt” is a real risk.
