Co-founder of Robertson Cooper, alongside Ivan Robertson, Cary is the 50th Anniversary Professor of Organisational Psychology and Health at the Alliance Manchester Business School. Recognised as a world leading expert on wellbeing, Cary is the media’s first choice for comment on workplace issues.

He has published over 250 books including The Healthy Workforce, Remote Workplace Culture, Wellbeing at Work, Cambridge Companion to Presenteeism at Work, and 300 scholarly articles. He received a CBE from the Queen in 2001 and was Knighted for his contribution to the social sciences by the Queen in 2014.

Ivan was a Founder of Robertson Cooper and is Emeritus Professor of Work & Organisational Psychology at The University of Manchester. After founding the company with Sir Cary Cooper, Ivan was Managing Director from 2002 until 2010.

Ivan retains an active interest in leading edge wellbeing research and has published over 40 books and 200 scholarly articles and conference papers. Ivan’s books include: Wellbeing: Happiness and Productivity at Work (2011), Management and Happiness (2013) and Work Psychology (2016).

Dr Judith Grant is a Chartered Psychologist, Workplace Wellbeing Strategist, Consultant and Coach, with 20 years of experience in public, community, and corporate health.

Judith has worked in strategic organisational health, safety and wellbeing roles, in business development for wellbeing providers, in local authority health and as a personal trainer and coach. Previously held roles include Director of Health and Wellbeing at Mace and Head of Health and Wellbeing at Royal Mail.

With a PhD in Occupational Health Psychology and Management Judith is focused on combining health research with business outcomes to create sustainable organisational wellbeing programmes that not only support employees but deliver organisational results.

With a Master’s degree in Occupational Psychology and more than a decade of hands-on experience, Matt works across all levels of business: from front-line teams to senior leaders. His approach combines evidence-based methods with a practical understanding of the real pressures people face at work.

Matt specialises in psychological health and safety, coaching, and facilitation. Whether he’s running an interactive team session or supporting strategic change, he brings clarity, energy, and a real passion for helping people build lasting, healthy habits.

Nicki Bass is a business psychologist and wellbeing consultant who is passionate about enabling others to thrive in the workplace and reach their potential.

Having spent 18 years as an officer in the British Army, she has deep lived experience of operating in high pressure environments. She is currently undertaking a Professional Doctorate in Occupational Psychology as well as being a TEDx Speaker and host of The Everyday Adventure Podcast.
