Creating the conditions for wellbeing and performance

An evidence-led approach focused on supporting people and enabling strong, sustainable performance.

Our approach

We help organisations create healthier, higher-performing workplaces by focusing on what really drives wellbeing and performance at work.

For over 25 years, our business psychologists have worked with organisations across sectors to understand the everyday conditions that help people feel well, perform at their best and stay engaged. Our approach is grounded in evidence, shaped by data, and designed to create lasting change – not quick fixes.

Wellbeing isn’t something separate from performance. When the right conditions are in place, people are more productive, more engaged, more likely to stay, and more likely to advocate for their organisation. That’s what our work is designed to achieve.

Evidence-led, not

assumption-led

Everything we do starts with evidence.

Our thinking is informed by one of the largest datasets of workplace wellbeing and performance in the UK, built from responses from almost 70,000 employees across multiple industries and countries over the past five years.

This allows us to move beyond trends, opinions or generic wellbeing activity. Instead, we focus on what the data consistently shows makes the biggest difference to both people and organisations – and where action will have the greatest impact.

Why should organisations invest in improving wellbeing?

Whilst we instinctively strive for more Good Days at Work as individuals, what is often overlooked is how taking a strategic approach to workplace wellbeing can help businesses overcome common challenges, such as problems attracting and retaining talent and high levels of absenteeism. Compared to those with low wellbeing, those with high wellbeing:

  • Report being 52% more productive
  • Are 6 times less likely to consider leaving their jobs
  • Report 1/2 as much absence due to illness
  • Report 2/3rds as much presenteeism
  • Are 6.5 times more likely to recommend their organisation as a place to work
